EvenSplit is a simple, offline bill splitter. Most questions are answered below. If you are stuck, get in touch and a real person will reply.
How do I split a bill?
Type the total, set how many people are sharing, and each person's amount appears instantly. Add a tip or tax if you need to.
How do uneven splits work?
Tap "Make it uneven", then pin anyone to a set amount or a share. EvenSplit balances everyone else so the total always adds up.
How do I add a tip or tax?
Choose 15, 18, 20, or 25 percent, or set your own with the tip control. Tap "Add tax" to include tax when the bill calls for it.
Is my data backed up or synced?
No, and that is by design. EvenSplit has no account, no cloud, and no network connection. Everything stays on your device. If you delete the app, your saved splits are removed with it.
Can I scan a receipt?
No. EvenSplit does one thing well: the math of splitting a check. There is no camera or scanning. You can attach a photo of a receipt to a saved split for your own reference, but it is never read or uploaded.
How much does it cost?
EvenSplit is free. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. Open it and split.
